La Pasta sur Nantes

We had a lovely meal here at this family run restaurant. The family were so welcoming and as the daughter spoke English we had no problem ordering and knowing what each of the dishes were. Food was from southern Italy where the family originated from, so tasty, I had the orecchiette followed by the cheese plate, lovely. They are obviously very passionate about their cooking and it shows in their food. The father came and talked to us too, it was a delightful evening. If you are in Nantes I would recommend a visit.

A great experience! I've never eaten such good carbonara! Homemade pasta, incredible meats, even the neighbors are friendly! A friendly, family atmosphere, and everything is delicious! Thank you!

A family-run restaurant with a very warm welcome. The cuisine is typically Italian and homemade. I recommend it 100/100. We had the burratta fresa as a starter, followed by creamy spaghetti with Italian cheese, and to finish, a homemade tiramisu and a strawberry panna cotta.

The ravioli with sage butter and asparagus were absolutely delicious! The flavours where delicate and perfectly balanced, I just wished the serving size was a bit more generous. I had a great time and will definitely be back!

The restaurant is small but pleasant. I recommend booking. The lasagna is truly a delight, one of the best I have ever eaten, the meat was beef, which is different from the typical lasagna that we find in other Italian restaurants, the sauce was very good, the pasta 10/10. The panna cotta was good but not extra, the coulis was made of figs, it had a strange flavor, suddenly I had the sensation of eating perfume, it was not bad, just strange on the palate. Unfortunately at the time of paying, the waitress/cashier (who by the way, she was kind) was talking to the owner of the restaurant, which is why we went to another girl on staff and she rudely responded that she was not the cashier, that she had already prepared our lunch, she was really very rude, it's a shame because she ruined the pleasant time we had spent in the restaurant, we could have complimented her on her good cooking, but she left us with a bad time at the end.

An authentic Italian restaurant!! I don't know of 2 like that. We come back again and again, for the food, the service and everything else! Well done and thank you to the team!
