La Pasta sur Nantes

I expected better; thankfully Luggi lightened the mood. Poorly seated with my back to the light, the daily special was too salty and stingy with the parmesan. The dessert was uninteresting; it was clearly the weak point. And to top it all off, the bill felt a bit too high (again). Did I just catch them on a bad day?

We had a lovely time with our grandson in a family atmosphere, enjoying delicious homemade Italian food. A wonderful discovery! Highly recommended! See you soon!

Why didn't I go back sooner? That's the question that's been nagging at me since my last visit... La Pasta is a complete package, and you take it all! The food is real, delicious Italian dishes, just as they're actually cooked in Italy: always a treat... A vibrant, family atmosphere, a genuine sense of connection, a place where they love cooking for people, a place where they love people for who they are. I go to Italy frequently, a destination I adore above all others, and when I'm at La Pasta, I feel like I'm in Italy. It just goes to show that Italian flags or whatever trendy decor doesn't guarantee authentic food. Thank you, and long live La Pasta!

Superb welcome and delicious homemade pasta, just like in Puglia.

Delicious food! The homemade pasta and its sauces bursting with Italian flavors were a delight! The tiramisu (Luigi's recipe for 43 years) was the perfect way to finish the meal. A warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

It's a shame we can't give it 6 stars. Unforgettable, both the food and the atmosphere. Highly, highly recommended! (Those who are easily disappointed should stay away.)
