We ordered two dishes. Potato’s and fries were really nice and good. The cold cut was not good and it seemed to be frozen and dry. We mentioned it to them twice but they seem to not care much about it. We did not like that part.

Passing through Meximieux, I received a very warm welcome at this restaurant. The service was quick, and the waiters were polite and pleasant. The manager was very friendly. I was pleasantly surprised and very satisfied. I recommend it.

I came with my family on Friday, February 20, 2026, at noon, and found a very welcoming restaurant. Parking is easy, and the menu offers a wide variety of choices. The service is quick, and the servers are friendly and helpful. I thought this establishment was closed… but it's not. It retains the spirit of La Pataterie. It's a shame it's the only one in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. Reservations are highly recommended for evenings and weekends! I'll definitely be back…

On December 29th, we were desperately searching for something open in the area, and we found it! We arrived early enough to get a table and were very well received. A touch of humor, quick service, and a delicious meal—excellent burgers, much better than the butcher shop. I highly recommend it!

04/04/2026: We ate here last night as a family with two children. Although they didn't have any pizzas at that time, they made an exception for us. The head pizza chef was kind enough to prepare two pizzas for the children, even though it was peak delivery time. They were absolutely delicious, everyone loved them. The children were thrilled with the whole atmosphere. I haven't seen such a child-friendly establishment in a long time. They catered to the children's wishes and even discussed with them exactly how they wanted their pizzas prepared, despite the language barrier ☺️ A very nice English-speaking waitress also attended to the children's requests while serving, always friendly and smiling. Salads, pizzas, burgers – everything was very generous and excellent – ​​très bon 😉 When we left, everyone – including the pizza chef – thanked us and said goodbye! We highly recommend this place – all in all: perfect, delicious, affordable, and very welcoming!

30/03/2026: We went with the menu (starter, main dish, dessert) and also lamb on the main dishes. It was so tasty and well seasoned the meat. We loved it very much
28/03/2026: We'll be back. Very good, €36 for a set menu with plenty of choice. Generous portions. Very pleasant service. It's rustic, and I have to say that for tall guys like me, the chairs aren't comfortable. Too low, too hard, uncomfortable. The kind of straw chairs you find in bistros.
