We had a terrific dinner here overlooking the Seine. Including the best fish meal ever (after traveling across six continents) of turbot with a shrimp and caramel sauce served on a delicate French toast. Sounds weird but when it hit my tongue I had was speechless! Great service too!

A fantastic restaurant with the owner Stéphane present, who offers excellent advice and guides us throughout the meal. The dishes are constantly changing, incredibly fresh, a truly wonderful, timeless experience. We will definitely return.

Walked a short distance from our ship docked in Rouen. A few blocks away from the Cathedral, but in a different world. Small place. 8 tables. Owner name Stephen, “big boss.” He gets the best of the best from Normandy like fresh fish and oysters and snails and from Madagascar he gets special shrimp. Then does the very French thing. The Sweets after are complimentary: Madeline, crisp chocolate chip cookie, and tiny molten lava cake with espresso. This place is fantastic! Locally owned and local patronage.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant where the food was delicious and the service very pleasant. The atmosphere was very calm, our taste buds were delighted, and we will definitely be back.

10/06/2026: A huge thank you to the entire team at Bodega and Escapade! Wedding on May 2nd, 2026, then birthday on May 3rd, 2026—yes, we had a few back-to-back events, but honestly, we have no regrets...everything was perfect. Top-notch organization and advice, a lovely team, and a fantastic DJ (JP). The caterer (HAUVILLE) and his team were also excellent. We recommend them 100%! It will remain an exceptional weekend.
09/06/2026: A very successful evening, fantastic atmosphere, excellent musicians, a warm welcome, and the food was superb. I will definitely do this cruise again; I had a really great time!
