We had a terrific dinner here overlooking the Seine. Including the best fish meal ever (after traveling across six continents) of turbot with a shrimp and caramel sauce served on a delicate French toast. Sounds weird but when it hit my tongue I had was speechless! Great service too!

A fantastic restaurant with the owner Stéphane present, who offers excellent advice and guides us throughout the meal. The dishes are constantly changing, incredibly fresh, a truly wonderful, timeless experience. We will definitely return.

Walked a short distance from our ship docked in Rouen. A few blocks away from the Cathedral, but in a different world. Small place. 8 tables. Owner name Stephen, “big boss.” He gets the best of the best from Normandy like fresh fish and oysters and snails and from Madagascar he gets special shrimp. Then does the very French thing. The Sweets after are complimentary: Madeline, crisp chocolate chip cookie, and tiny molten lava cake with espresso. This place is fantastic! Locally owned and local patronage.

Well, we'd been wanting to have dinner at this restaurant for ages! And we finally did! And how! From the appetizer to the main course to the dessert And the little truffled mashed potatoes! No regrets whatsoever! On the contrary, we'll definitely be back! Thank you so much for this wonderful culinary experience!

17/04/2026: Second visit to this restaurant, after an excellent first experience. This time, the experience was much more mixed: reservation at 7:30 pm, arrival at 7:24 pm. The door was wide open, but the owner's welcome was very surprising. She pointed out that we were early and that the restaurant was closed, adding that we could be seated but that she wouldn't be attending to us. After this astonishing exchange, we were finally seated. The meal was very good, and the service provided by the excellent team made the incident all the more regrettable. A simple apology at the time of payment would have been enough to smooth things over, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Going to a restaurant is a holistic experience: the ambiance, the food, but also the welcome. To be received like that, especially in front of your family, whom you've invited, is very disappointing. Judging by the other reviews, I imagine this is an isolated case. Personally, in the future I will favor an establishment that is happy to welcome its customers, even if they arrive 6 minutes before their reservation time.
