My mother and I stumbled upon the terrace of this restaurant. The fish was delicious, everything was excellent, and my digestion was excellent, which is a good sign (especially for my 84-year-old mother). A charming woman served us with a smile, kindness, and humor. She offered us a truly exceptional welcome. Thank you.

The food is well-prepared, using quality ingredients and served by friendly and attentive staff (including a cat lady 😉), on a terrace that's perfect for the shoulder seasons. It's a place you'll want to return to and highly recommend.

I really enjoyed my visit. Beautifully cooked steak (entrecot Charollais) with really hot delicious fries and salad. I had a green salad for starters and a lovely warm tarte au pommes with food ice cream for pudding. With a glass of kir, a glass of Macon rouge and a coffee to finish I thought good value for €44. There was a nice atmosphere and good prompt service. I'd certainly go again.

A very good place to eat, the only downside: very few vegetarian options (and zero vegan options) and no way to customize the dishes.

18/05/2026: We had a wonderful time at Le Cloître restaurant in Cluny! The service was incredible: quick, efficient, and always with a smile, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We ordered the duck breast with Pinot Noir sauce, and it was a real treat. It was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was absolutely delicious. Well done to the entire team, both in the kitchen and in the dining room. A truly excellent restaurant that we highly recommend!
13/04/2026: A restaurant that doesn't need advertising; word of mouth works very well. Behind the stoves, a chef is busy preparing dishes for palates of all ages.

28/06/2026: Excellent dinner, we ate very well and the owner speaks excellent Italian. We felt at home.
25/05/2026: A lovely terrace for dining, thanks to the Cluny Abbey right next door. We had a very pleasant time thanks to the friendly, efficient, and respectful owner and servers. Thank you for the warm welcome and your smiles. The "brasserie" menus are decent and tasty.
