What a wonderful experience these flavor combinations created by the Chef were!
We had a fantastic evening; the atmosphere was intimate, just the way we like it.
The menu prepared by the team was exceptional.

We discovered this establishment while passing through the region three years ago during a dinner.
We cherished the memory of that wonderful experience and promised ourselves we would return one day.
The only slight problem was that we live in the south of France, and since Brittany is quite a distance from us, it wasn't possible to visit La Petite Auberge as often as we would have liked. Last January, during a road trip through some beautiful French regions, we finally made it, and we planned a dinner at La Chapelle Janson.
The owner, Marie, is as welcoming as ever. She is passionate about her work, attentive to your needs, and a truly dynamic and enthusiastic professional!
The dining room is very pleasant, the furniture very comfortable, the tables beautifully set, and some of the table pieces are by local artists and craftspeople.
In the kitchen, Chef Olivier Carrissan is none other than Marie's husband!
Olivier is one of those chefs who possesses a humble and unassuming talent. In his kitchen, he offers cuisine worthy of the greats, the kind that demands mastery, experience, expertise, exacting standards, rigor, consistency, and hard work.
Ultra-fresh produce, vegetables, fish, meat—everything comes from here or very close by.
Flavors, textures, cooking techniques, creativity, discoveries—it's all there!
An absolutely exceptional quality-to-price ratio.
Olivier and Marie are always on the lookout for new products, and their wine list features wines from independent winemakers and growers.
Marie will be happy to advise you; she knows and loves what she recommends.
Here, they think and do things like the "grand restaurants," albeit with more modest means, of course, and a great deal of investment and hard work. La Petite Auberge de Marie et Olivier Carissan...a truly wonderful place.
In conclusion...we will return and we invite you to step through the door of this sincere and "Great"
