I've been to this restaurant several times, both in summer and winter. Today was perfect. Such attentive service is rare these days, so I highly recommend them! I love the accent, which isn't as sing-song as ours, but adds extra charm to this cute place.
I recommend the mounjetade.

A real favorite!
We loved La Petite Auberge de Niaux. The welcome is warm, simple, and authentic; you immediately feel at home. The shaded terrace is a true haven of peace, perfect for a meal surrounded by nature. The cuisine is local, fresh, and full of flavor, using quality, homemade ingredients. A true pleasure in every bite. Remember to make a reservation; it's a popular spot, and it's well-deserved! We'll be back with great pleasure.

We ate here (were not guests of the hotel part) and had a wonderful lunch on a warm late June afternoon. The owners/staff were so lovely, and very patient and good-humored with my kids. And the food was amazing! My younger son tried duck for the first time and is now hooked! My elder son tried cassoulet for the the first time and is now a convert!
An absolute must if you're in the area!

A very warm welcome from Fabien, the host. The rooms were very pleasant and tastefully decorated. The meals were made with delicious local produce. You can tell that Christine, the cook, put a lot of love into the meal.

Family meal on the terrace. Fresh, well-prepared local produce. €35 for the menu: starter, main course, dessert. Everything was good. A friendly welcome from a kind, very local gentleman and pleasant service. We went there to take our time and enjoy. It was perfect.

How can you not love this moment spent at the restaurant. One Saturday evening, we decided to go to the restaurant and there we were seated at one of their tables after a warm telephone greeting.
Once seated, we were served with a smile and a little note to explain where the products came from (you couldn't get any closer, by the way.). Dishes made with good products and know-how can only be excellent. We feel the desire to enjoy ourselves and we did, thank you.
