The service was excellent, nothing to complain about, it was very good and the atmosphere was warm and relaxed. I had a wonderful evening there with friends, I highly recommend it!

The atmosphere is great, as is the food! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will return to dine in this pleasant setting, in the shade of the maple trees, with delicious dishes and many local products.

Driving past and decided to stop for lunch. What a great decision that was , I had the smoked sturgeon for starter my wife had eggs of the day . Main course for me was duck with potatoes and mushroom sauce, OMG the duck was cooked to perfection, the potatoes cooked in butter were soft and sweet, but the sauce, the sauce was just to die for. My wife had the potatoe pie off the starter menu for main and again it was excellent. No dessert as we aren't pudding people. Service was amazing , the waitress was happy to help me with my improving French, but she spoke very good English . Atmosphere is chilled relaxed and calm, the place is very quiet with bird song and the chatter of the locals. Menu of the day was just €17.50 (we ordered off different menus which wasn't an issue.) Definitely 10/10 You can sit inside or outside

Exceptional cuisine in this small restaurant lost in the middle of the Double forest… Creativity, original combinations of flavors, showcasing local products, perfect cooking, kind service and good humor, reasonable prices… It’s perfect!

My wife and I ate lunch here. The food is, in general, excellent. Unfortunately my wife’s duck breast was very overcooked. My lunch of slow cooked beef in flaky pastry with cepe sauce was exceptional. The staff are very good, attentive & unobtrusive. There is an opportunity for improvement in the internal dining area at the rear of the building. It is quite stark and antiseptic. There are no soft furnishings and little in the way of decoration. This creates a very noisy environment if there are a large number of people. There is a large outdoor covered eating area in the rear garden but it was too cold for us to use it on our visit.

Deserves a Michelin star! Only products from local producers, creative and traditional cuisine at the same time, certainly one of the best restaurants in the Coutrillon/Montpon area.

Excellent quality food. Friendly and good service. Unfortunately, a group of loudmouthed bikers were seated at the table right behind us. It was impossible to have a conversation. We will return because, as I said, the food is very good. Congratulations.

We will gladly return. February 2026: We did return! 😍 Our second experience was just as convincing as the first. An excellent restaurant to recommend.
