La Petite Epicerie sur Saorge

Discovering this incredible place was a revelation. The food was beyond delicious, and the owners were as welcoming and warm as their cooking was authentic. The ingredients were excellent and expertly prepared; you feel right at home. We won't forget this wonderful experience!

Great food, service and original French/Italian vibe

We came to visit Saorge and hadn't thought to book a table. We were kindly welcomed. The menu was simple, without frills; everything was homemade, fresh, and tasty! A typical restaurant for this type of village, with a very quiet street, and a lovely walk to follow after your meal to help you digest. The prices are very reasonable (homemade dessert at €7/8). Thank you again for your authenticity and friendliness. We look forward to returning, remembering to book this time. Kind regards, the "Villenevois" couple.

Excellent service and dishes made with locally sourced ingredients, including a very good dessert (apricot clafoutis). Good value for money, especially considering the location. It's best to book because there are only a few tables.
