We had a wonderful lunch at La Petite Histoire. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the food was excellent, the menu was short but varied with options for everyone, and we felt the value for money was very good for the area. As an added bonus, the owner was friendly and clearly enjoyed introducing us to local products.

Arriving without a reservation and quite late for lunch, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the service. The team greeted us with a smile and took their time serving us. We left the table after 3 pm, which is rare enough in France to be worth mentioning! The cuisine is home-style, generous, and well-prepared. The food is excellent, with simple yet expertly executed dishes, and a fine selection of wines to complement the meal. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and you can tell the restaurant is used to handling large crowds while still providing attentive service to each table. A very good experience, a pleasant and stress-free lunch. I highly recommend La Petite Histoire if you are in the Roussillon area or simply passing through Apt. A place where you feel comfortable and where the food is excellent.

A wonderful discovery, recommended by a local shopkeeper. A lively, open kitchen that serves tasty, well-prepared dishes. A relaxed atmosphere, which proves you can eat very well without showing off. I recommend it.

We ate here on two consecutive nights and had two lovely dinners. The chef and team were friendly and attentive, and everyone obviously enjoyed working there. It was also popular with locals - both families and couples - the friendly mood and good food made this the place to go in town. The only thing that marred our experience occurred on our second night's dinner there. There was an additional waiter who had not been there the previous night. In bringing bread to each table, all the other waiters used tongs to take rolls from a bin and put them on a plate. This one waiter not only sneezed frequently into his hands without washing afterwards, but then used his unwashed hands to get the rolls. Disappointing and rather disgusting. Hopefully something can be said to him, since everything else was good.

Lovely French restaurant. Close to the ochre mines of Roussillon. We had a wonderful meal outside on the typically French terrace at the back. We had the daily menu, which was excellent value for money! Friendly service, easy parking.

Great establishment! Service only during the week! But superb cuisine, I loved it fresh! A friendly owner and service too! I recommend it if you pass by!
