Yesterday we had lunch at "La petite Marmite Didier. We had mussels with a bit of a Mexican touch.. followed by an octopus aïoli and, for dessert, nagé de pêches et sa glace. Everything was super good as always. Thank you for this lovely lunch
I have eaten here many times over the years and food is always excellent, service is friendly and attentive and all staff are a delight. It's a pleasure to dine here.
I write this review now to counter the ridiculous and unfair review written a few days ago by Bedos. You will not regret visiting Petite Marmite and the lovely, genuine little village of Montfort-sur-Argens. It's what Provence is all about.
Friendly setting, canvas to avoid baking in the sun in summer, quality cuisine, welcoming staff!
Special mention for the children's menu which made older children want...
Clean toilets!
Average, this restaurant, sorry for the fans. A small cockerel €23 A piece of veal liver €23 (no vegetables) Well prepared, certainly, but too expensive for what it is. And then we serve next door / 10m (on the terrace of the bistro next door), aluminum trays to take away! Maybe it's cheaper? A bit weird.
Home cooking with fresh, seasonal produce, so a short daily menu. Plates generously served by the chef. We had a great time, thank you! No service on the terrace, you should prefer this restaurant in winter or rainy days. A downside about the welcome: We had not reserved, we were "notified" when 3 tables were empty... I would have understood in the middle of the summer season but here, on a weekday outside school holidays ; It was a chill when we arrived. A smile at the reception would have been welcome but perhaps it was the rush in the kitchen...
