The hotel is well located for a stopover towards the Basque Country.
Both dinner and breakfast are of quality (except for the fries, which were charred).
It must have once been great, but today it is somewhat neglected. The garden hasn't seen a gardener for years. The rooms are "antique" but we are happy to forgive that as the building dates from the 16th century. Bed linen and bathroom are spotless. But it smells musty (probably the ancient carpet).
However, no problem for someone passing by for 1 night!
