Despite being rather jaded with restaurants, I thoroughly enjoyed the set lunch menu. The dishes were generous and beautifully presented. I highly recommend this excellent place.

A cuisine that takes its time. The poached egg with its red wine sauce... the chef is worth the trip! The place too. Simple, warm welcome, beautiful music. Absolutely beautiful!

25/03/2026: Looking for oysters, we left another place because “the fishmonger was closed” and came here just around the corner in the backstreets of Vannes. Easy parking! Very small but busy. Excellent English and very gluten free-friendly. The best oysters we had on our trip. Delicate, briny but meatier. Very creative menu, beautifully executed. I had their take on Kig ha Farz, a Breton dish of hearty stew and gf buckwheat stuffing. Cod dish with spuds & cabbage was delicious too. Lovely, enthusiastically friendly staff at this delicious locally flavoured bistro off the beaten track. Go!
