Great place, good food served with a smile

Everything was absolutely delicious, the portions were generous, and the setting was magnificent with its view of the nearby waterfall. The servings were truly generous for the price; we couldn't finish because my girlfriend and I don't eat to force ourselves, but to enjoy ourselves. I highly recommend it, especially for a date.

The terrace's location is fantastic, right next to a fountain with a ramped pathway. Our dishes arrived without too much of a wait, despite the crowd. We enjoyed the lasagna and the swordfish steak with eggplant and fresh tomatoes. It was very tasty and generous. Our waitress, Marine, was wonderful. We had a lovely time. After your meal, don't forget to take a stroll through the museum garden next to the restaurant and around the Place du Chapitre.

Overall, we had a good time thanks to the quality of the food. The dishes were well-prepared and presented; this is clearly the restaurant's strong point. However, the experience was somewhat spoiled by the atmosphere. The restaurant was extremely crowded, with tables set up everywhere. It was difficult to have a conversation because of the high noise level. Adding to this was the particularly stifling heat, undoubtedly due to the large number of people present. The solid plastic chairs, without cushions or accessories, didn't help. In this heat, they quickly became uncomfortable: in shorts, your legs stick to or drip onto the chair, and in a dress, you leave with sweat marks from the seat. Finally, the staff remained pleasant, but it was difficult to find an available waiter or waitress due to the crowds. In summary, very good food that deserves to be discovered, but comfort and organization could be improved when the restaurant is full.

It's a factory. The pizza maker isn't bad, you can tell by the dough, but the ingredients are limited and of average quality. The beef Rossini is the same; the amount of foie gras is very small. Not bad, but it reeks of cost-cutting. It's crowded and rather impersonal. The location is nice, though. I struggle to understand its success and what makes it "the place to be." Clearly, there are much better options in every respect.

Still the best Italian restaurant in the area, without a doubt. Nico and Katia welcome you with their friendly team. We had lunch on the terrace, and even in the heat, the size of the parasols provided a pleasant shaded area on one of Nîmes' most beautiful squares. The daily special was delicious: lobster! And the price was very reasonable. Tiramisu, always a delight. Homemade cuisine with fresh ingredients and generous portions. Quick service for lunch on the terrace. Impeccable! Thank you so much.
