La Pibale sur Saint-Julien-En-Born

A truly blissful moment in Contis-Plage! On our GR8 hiking trail, we stopped in Contis-Plage for a simple lunch break... which turned into a delightful moment. From the moment we arrived, a welcoming, friendly, and attentive welcome enveloped us like a summer breeze. The team is quick, approachable, and exceptionally kind. The dishes are simple yet elaborate, bursting with color and flavor, a true feast for the eyes and the taste buds. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality and the setting, nestled between the ocean and the pine forest. You can sense a wonderful collective spirit here: the staff and management take the time to come and chat, to make sure everything went well, with a sincerity that warms the heart. A charming and light-filled stopover that I recommend without hesitation to all travelers in search of a little humanity and real flavors.

Excellent restaurant, just a shame there was no fish on the menu that day.
