La Pignata sur Martigues

A great evening! The portions were generous, my children love home cooking, and on top of that, we were served with a smile.

Very good cuisine, I highly recommend it.

Very disappointed by the Sicilian restaurant. My husband ordered the daily special: very good. I chose the osso buco: a huge bone with three bites of meat, fat, pasta, and a tomato sauce with a dubious taste (lemon?). I expressed my dissatisfaction to the cook. Much later, they brought me back, with apologies from the restaurant, a piece of meat with that sickening tomato sauce, and not even a single piece of pasta. The service was very slow, even though there were only four tables occupied. I can only imagine what it's like in the summer! The setting is very pretty, but that won't be enough to make us return to this restaurant. A few steps away, you can eat at "Tata Simone," where you're guaranteed quality dishes at very reasonable prices. Obviously, it's not the same atmosphere. To each their own.

I love it! It's delicious, with fresh ingredients, homemade pasta, excellent pizzas, and the owners are super friendly. ❤❤

Passing through Martigues, this restaurant was recommended to me by locals. I wasn't disappointed, not at all. The service was quick, and the "La Pignata" pizza was excellent. The staff were welcoming, smiling, and helpful. I noticed that there were many locals and that the staff knew the customers.

The food and family atmosphere...nothing to complain about 👌
