La Piscine sur Marseille

Upon arrival we were immediately seated. The restaurant's tables are in a dehors overlooking the port, in a pleasant environment. The two girls who served were very kind. What I ordered arrived quickly enough and everything was of good quality. Prices within the local norm. I would happily stay here again.

We had Cesar salad and tatare de crook. Both highly recommended, delicious food.

I wouldn't be as enthusiastic as all the reviews. We already found the service very and too urgent. We were still at the aperitif, parenthetically served as is, not even an olive, that the young woman came 5 times to take our order. The same goes for clearing out our unfinished plates that she wanted to remove. The aioli revisited, not convinced that it is homemade and very weak in taste, low in quantity, obliged to ask. The correct attitude, but not enough to fall backwards. Industrial apple pie, which you find anywhere. To conclude, if you want to eat facing the port and the good mother it will be fine, but do not trust the advertising on their site which designates this place as one of the best restaurants in Marseille. We are far from it.

Amazing soupe de poisson for it's money! Not a posh style, but very flavoured cream-soup with croutons and parmesan cheese - absolutely great for just €15. Great wine and atmosphere.

Delicious food, friendly staff, original menu, tastefully decorated. A little quiet in the evening but overall a lovely dining experience . Highly recommend

Terrace only restaurant offering variety of fresh fish. Servers incredibly friendly and happy to accommodate requests. Food delicious and arrived quickly. Tables overlooking old port. Recommend for those looking for an unpretentious evening amongst friends accompanied by good food and service.
