We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It's a shame the pizza was a bit too expensive and the service was overcrowded.

Great place and personal. We just came from a long trip and found only that place for food around. Despite the fact that it was 30 min before end of the working shift, they baked us a fantastic pizza!

Delicious pizza, made with fresh ingredients, a pleasant crust, and generous toppings. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, which is a definite plus. However, the size was a bit of a disappointment: the pizzas are served in half-sizes, meaning about 20% less surface area, which raises some questions considering the quantity/price ratio. Nevertheless, it's still a place worth discovering. With a slightly larger size or a price more in line with the portion size, it would be absolutely fantastic.

For a restaurant that revolves primarily around pizza, it disappointed us somewhat. The pizza crust was disappointing, and so was the taste. The service was good, though, and the terrace looks nice!

L'Italien Restaurant Epicerie

28/05/2026: €18 for 500g, €36/kg, for a pack of fusini pasta... surprised by the price, I bought it anyway, hoping for a higher quality... no difference in taste compared to supermarket Panzani at €5/kg... okay to pay more than at the supermarket, but it's still way too much
23/03/2026: The best gourmet grocery store in Aix! Everything looks so tempting, the Italian products are excellent, and the dishes prepared on-site are delicious 🤤 Special mentions for the lasagna and the parmesan mousse, which I can't resist ordering every time I visit
