While passing through Rueil-Malmaison, we found this brasserie on the banks of the Seine. We had a very good meal and the restaurant staff were smiling and very friendly, in a very pleasant square with lots of greenery and a small view of the Seine.

This restaurant is ideally located, but that's not its only advantage! The staff is truly attentive, friendly, and very helpful! I must say they were remarkable last night considering the number of customers they had to serve! Well done and thank you for that, as it's rarely the case during busy periods! The place is beautifully situated next to the docks. The terrace is magnificent with a lovely view of the scene. The dishes are classic bistro fare. We enjoyed and tried: lamb shank with mashed potatoes, fish and chips, wheat beer, and white port.
The food was good. However, the side dishes could have been a bit more generous without the bread; I would have still been hungry. The service was simple, discreet, and above all, quick. A lovely time for two on a sunny spring afternoon.
