Delicious! A little expensive but worth it. Great service!

We came Tuesday, September 3 with my husband for my birthday, it was crazy, the service, the atmosphere, the friendliness, the cleanliness, but then the must of the must, the succulent meal, I have never eaten something so good in a restaurant, well done!!! The team is super helpful, no time to say, they don't get rid of the empty glasses that are already there to get rid of!!! We had so much fun that I could still write!!! I recommend a thousand percent!!!!!! Well done again!!! We will come back!!

Erg goed strandrestaurant op ‘Plage Est’, ver van het drukke toerisme van Saintes—Maries-de-la-Mer. Een fantastische mediterrane keuken met een jonge, vriendelijke en enthousiaste equipe in de keuken en bediening. De klant is koning. Wel bij voorkeur reserveren, ook voor de ligbedjes. De prijs van €25,- voor 2 ligbedjes met parasol en tafeltje, voor de hele dag is schappelijk. Als je vroeg bent, is er nog wel plaats (maandag). Er heerst ‘n sfeervolle en rustige sfeer. Zwemmen kan voor jong en oud of wandelen over het zandstrand. We komen hier altijd graag terug voor de zon en de lunch. We hebben nu ‘slechts’ een hoofdgerecht en een dessert genomen dat we hebben gedeeld met z’n tweeën. Een goede keuze, want een voorgerecht erbij zou teveel zijn geweest. Ik heb gekozen voor de ‘tentacule de poulpe, Sauce glacée, purée de patate douce rôtie en risotto de riz noir’. Heerlijk krokante inktvis. Mijn vrouw had gekozen voor de ‘Risotto de Fregola Sarda, Persillade de sauge en Burrata’. Dit vergezeld met een rosé, ‘On s’en fish’ uit de Languedoc-Roussillon. Met ‘choco bonheur’ (mousse, ijs en crumble) als dessert sloten we af. Echt een aanrader.

Un lieu assez original au bout d’un chemin de sable. Accueil très agréable malgré une arrivée tardive. Poisson grillé top et petit légumes juste parfaits. Suprême de volaille bien, manque peut être un peu de quantité dans l’assiette. Nous avons passé un très agréable moment.
