We loved everything about La Pleine Lune: dinner in the charming, tree-shaded patio, softly lit; the crayons and placemats for the children; and the generous and delicious dishes, all homemade (including the smoked salmon in the seafood salad). The menu descriptions on the chalkboard are simple, but the plates, served with care, hold delightful surprises.

Absolutely wonderful place, Xavier and the rest welcomed us like family and the food was out of this world! If you ever stop by Bouges, please give them a visit. You won’t regret it!

Dinner with friends overlooking the Cathedral, what could be better? Fast service and incredibly tasty, generous portions. Classic Berry dishes and also a twist on the croque monsieur worth trying. A restaurant well worth the detour. We dined here last year, and we'll definitely be back.

Le Beauvoir

06/10/2026: March 2026. It had been a few years since I'd been back to Le Beauvoir, which, for me, was the best restaurant in Bourges. This return visit today confirmed my opinion! Everything on the plate was delicious, you can feel the pleasure of their hospitality, and the decor and atmosphere make you feel truly comfortable. Thank you! October 2026. How good it is, whatever the season!!!!
