The setting is lovely, right by the canal... Luckily, because we had plenty of time to admire it... The service was interminable for rather ordinary food. Ideal if you're not in a hurry and not particularly hungry.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is my second time at La Poissonnerie Moderne and I'm just as satisfied as the first time. 🐙🐟 We ordered the parsley-crusted cuttlefish and the tuna steak: it was excellent! The portions are generous, the dishes are flavorful, and you can really taste the freshness of the fish. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and attentive, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. As I'm quite picky when it comes to fish, I appreciate this place all the more. The quality is consistently excellent every time. I highly recommend it and will gladly return!

Lunch today on the terrace overlooking the canal, enjoying the fresh air. The set menu was excellent, served in a friendly, family atmosphere. A very pleasant experience.

Fantastic, everything was so fresh. We had a seafood platter: king prawns, baby prawns, half a crab, lobster, and langoustine. All for €40, with butter and aioli. We enjoyed it in the shade, right by the canal. For those who want a set menu, it's €15 for a full meal. I highly recommend it, and all served with a smile!

A huge thank you for this wonderful experience. We discovered a true family restaurant, which has just celebrated its 20th anniversary, and it shows in every detail. Amandine, our server, explained with great simplicity that the whole family is involved: her sister in the dining room, her father behind the bar, and her mother in the kitchen. This beautiful close bond gives the place a special soul. Given the heat, we simply asked for fresh dishes. We received excellent recommendations: delicious plates, bursting with freshness, prepared with care, and generously served. Beyond the quality of the food, it was the humanity, passion, and authenticity of this family that deeply touched us. You can feel their love for their craft and their sincere desire to please. Congratulations to your entire family for these 20 years of passion, and thank you for offering us so much more than just a meal: a true moment of sharing. We will definitely be back!

Thank you to the whole team from the welcome to the dessert, the dishes are very good, the value for money is respected, the setting on the banks of the Canal du Midi is very pleasant, I highly recommend it.

A fantastic evening! The waitresses were incredibly friendly; one of them even managed to cheer up our 4-year-old Charlie! We highly recommend this place if you enjoy a friendly, family atmosphere… and we absolutely love it!
