What service, what cuisine, magnificent!

A fantastic evening at La Popote! The team was amazing, friendly, funny, and incredibly attentive. The atmosphere was wonderful, the food delicious, and the service impeccable. I highly recommend it; you won't be disappointed!

My partner and I had an excellent evening. We were initially seated at a large table in the dining room, and later moved to a second table. We were regularly asked if we wanted to change tables, if that was alright with us. We declined, as we were quite comfortable. As for the food: it was delicious! We had Iberian steak tartare and Périgord-style tartare, accompanied by roasted apples and incredibly delicious mashed potatoes. A coffee with duck and a very pleasant digestif at the end of the meal were also very welcome. The entire team was helpful, friendly, and above all, efficient, considering how busy it was last night. We will definitely be back with our son (who I'm sure will find his new favorite restaurant thanks to the mashed potatoes 😂) or with our families who don't live in Metz. Thank you again for the kind gestures of goodwill!

Top-notch! Excellent food, even better service.

Excellent restaurant. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome, a complimentary pâté, excellent bread, and simple, tasty, and generous dishes. The service was attentive, with special attention paid to each table. The restrooms were clean. Expect to pay around €45 for a starter, main course, and dessert, plus drinks, so it adds up quickly. We returned in July and had lunch on the terrace this past Saturday. The meal was good and plentiful; a very good place to eat.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end, but what truly makes the difference is the team. Everyone is lovely, smiling, and in good spirits; you immediately feel at ease. It's becoming rare to find places where the welcome is so warm and genuine. And thank you for the magic trick and to the magician (who should definitely pursue this path) who arranged for me to receive a complimentary limoncello ;) Thanks again!
