It's an original concept: a single menu with a starter and a single main course also for children in a smaller portion. We had a great time, we will come back with pleasure if the opportunity arises.

Restaurant found at random. And we were not disappointed at all, on the contrary!! Unique menu at 21eur and the dishes are homemade. Tasty food and very pleasant waitress. I recommend it without hesitation if you are in the area!

A little message to all those who would like to have an opinion on this emblematic place of St Jean de Maurienne: To provide context, from my point of view, we were working on installing a staircase. We had a reservation for 7:30 p.m. but the construction site was unable to wait a bit, which put us in the mood (don't worry, the staircase is ready to welcome you). All this to say that we arrived a few minutes late... despite this rush, the manager of La Poterne welcomed us with a big smile and even offered us something to fill us up. For my part I took a diabolo grenadine without ice cubes. Also note that 30 people can snack in this restaurant which doesn't look like much. Once all the guests were gathered, a platter of appetizers came to us. The latter had chorizo ​​and pesto puff pastry, a delicious cucurbit velouté etc… and of course certified homemade!! Anyway, let’s get to the heart of the matter: the food!! I can't tell you the quality of the frog legs soaked in its parsley sauce, a real slap in the face that delighted my taste buds. Concerning the tartiflette my colleagues were enchanted. All accompanied by a gratin dauphinois and salad (no opinion will be given on these green leaves). Unfortunately I can't talk about all the good things consumed during this meal but a big thumbs up to the charcuterie platter spec. Without forgetting to say that the alcohol was flowing freely. At the end of the meal, a nice surprise at the sight of the copious slice of tarin tart. A small downside however on the effectiveness of the star cup which contains the ball of ice cream. It was not easy to scrape the juice from the ice cream. But hey, it’s just a detail! To conclude through all these lines, I had a good time so I highly recommend this place. Very good restaurant, the cuisine is homemade with seasonal products, the welcome is very warm, and the service is really good. The waitress is very smiling and takes great care of the customers, and the price is right. I recommend with my eyes closed

Ça fait longtemps que l'on voulait venir, ça mérite vraiment l'arrêt. C'est fait maison avec les produits du jardin, hum délicieux, accueil très sympathique. On reviendra.
