We received a warm welcome, the setting is lovely, overlooking the Orne River.
The food was good.
We had a great time, it was very enjoyable.

After waiting for an hour and a half with two children—which is very long (they had forgotten about us 😒)—we almost left! We were finally able to eat at our leisure. Aside from this disappointment, the setting is very beautiful, and the food was also very good.

First of all, the setting is fantastic, even on a rainy evening!
We had a wonderful meal; the meat, fish, and ice cream were all excellent! Homemade dishes, beautiful presentation...nothing to complain about regarding the food.
However, there was a major organizational problem with the service. It took 45 minutes to take our dessert order while they were waiting or wandering around. Smiling and being helpful seemed difficult for some of them. We mentioned it when we paid, but the person (manager? I don't know) avoided taking note.
So, thank you to the cooks for the delicious meal! 😄 A message with kind regards 😉

The food was very good. Excellent service, the waitress was very pleasant. However, we were disappointed with our table location. We booked 15 days before coming to Clécy, but we were seated in the corner under a tree, and all evening cats were running overhead. A shame for a restaurant of this quality.
