A quick trip to Valençay for work. I'm not from the area (Calvados), but my client treated me to a meal at the village's small restaurant. I highly recommend this place. The food is simple and satisfying; you arrive hungry and leave with a full stomach. The only thing you want is a little nap to help with digestion. The owners gave me a very warm welcome with a smile, and the food is homemade. Everything is simple, the menu is straightforward but effective—nothing better, as too many choices can make you doubt the homemade quality. Thank you for your hospitality.
