Yes, I checked all the boxes. Truck stop. Truck stop restaurant closed without warning. They were closed for a break. I called them and told them I was looking for a restaurant for the evening. They invited me to come even though they don't serve food on Monday evenings. They made me a main course, a starter, and a dessert. They immediately offered to let me eat there even though only the bar was open. They are fantastic. A wonderful encounter. Truckers, don't hesitate to go. There's space to park parallel to the road. There's a parking lot a little further on. Thank you again.

Continuing my journey through the Miniac-Morvan region, I stopped at this honorable house, run by Lady Sandra and Lord Nicolas, called La p’tite ferme (The Little Farm). From the moment I entered, the checkered tablecloths reminded me of the coats of arms of the old families of this land, and the decor, imbued with the patina of time and memories of bygone days, evoked the banquet halls of our medieval castles. Having challenged my discerning palate, I savored the duck colombo, a rich and subtle dish where spices blended with the finesse and balance that only connoisseurs of Breton flavors can appreciate. The duck, tender and flavorful, revealed the excellence of the region's produce and the expertise of the local chefs. I left, my heart and stomach full, ready to spread the news to the king of this table where the past and taste meet, so that the talent and hospitality of Sandra and Nicolas may be known and celebrated throughout the kingdom.
