Very welcoming, refined cuisine. An address to absolutely discover.

A lovely setting, very pleasant, in the old village school. Very good cuisine, refined dishes. Pleasant service, but lacking a little elegance given the type of establishment.

Le personnel est très professionnel et zélé, malgré le nombre de clients, nous avons peu attendu nos plats. La qualité du plat principal était parfaite, autant la viande que le poisson mais avons été un peu déçus par la présentation et la saveur d'un des dessert.Au vu de la chaleur ambiante, nous aurions apprécié avoir du vin blanc plus frais.

Excellent restaurant. Very good cuisine with quality products. The atmosphere is cozy with the nicely decorated courtyard. The restaurant also offers cooking workshops where you learn with the restaurant's team of chefs in a friendly atmosphere. A good address that I recommend.

We came for dinner as a family, with a baby. We had the tasting menu and an aperitif. Everything was perfect from start to finish: the offerings are very refined, the cooking is mastered, the tastes are very present and delicate. We really enjoyed ourselves. The service is very warm, while remaining professional, and the courtyard in which we dined is a wonderfully pleasant and elegant place. Small downside: vegetarian options are present but rare. We warmly recommend.

Very hot day, no parasol, lukewarm water in a carafe and a not very friendly welcome from the owner...other than that, excellent meal and top waitress

Highly recommended! Very tasty culinary meal, we both had the 5 course menu where we chose different dishes. Everything was tasty and the layout of the plates was very nice! In the photos: Gazpacho, smoked duck with celeriac risotto, lobster ravioli with coral sauce, beef tenderloin in pepper sauce, beef cheek with mustard cream and onion compote, lemon meringue dessert and strawberry tiramisu.

We have been coming to La Recreation for lovely al fresco dinners for approx 9 years- multiple times every summer when we are in the region and we always leave happy and eager to come back. Ludovic and his wife are always so friendly, welcoming and take the time to explain the menu to those whose French isn't up to scratch. They are so passionate about the quality of the food and it shows in the way they describe the delicious dishes and the time they take to chat to their many returning customers. Our children have grown up savouring the delicious chicken and chips children's meal, graduating to the divine the lobster ravioli and more. The dessert have always been amazing. We always look forward to returning with family and friends. A very special place.

A restaurant in place of the old village school. The meal is delicious in every way. The choice is there! A little extra for the lobster ravioli and the “cherry time” dessert which are really excellent. Absolutely worth testing if you are in the Lot, thank you!
