All the ingredients are there for a wonderful experience: cuisine worthy of a top-notch gourmet restaurant, refined dishes, beautiful flavor combinations, and plates as beautiful as they are delicious.
The setting is simply idyllic! This former school, transformed into a restaurant, gives the place immense charm and perfectly suits the name La Récréation 😊
Add to that a warm welcome and impeccable service, and you have an address we recommend without hesitation.

Average value for money. It's nicely presented and tasty, but it doesn't offer any surprises. For the price, one would expect much better. The wait between courses is very long.

We chose the tasting menu. Classic French cuisine in the sense that meat or fish with a sauce takes center stage. It was nice that there was something crispy in every dish, in the form of roasted grains, a crispy crust, or pomegranate seeds. But what I missed at a restaurant of this level were vegetables! Hence four instead of five stars. I was most impressed by the dessert, a tropical egg with mango, passion fruit, and coconut—delicious! The place itself is also stunningly beautiful.

A FLAWLESS EXPERIENCE!
Exceptional cuisine, truly exceptional flavors. We opted for the "schoolteacher" menu, which is served in five courses.
We didn't leave the table feeling bloated; they took our food intolerances into account, and the vegetable starter was absolutely fantastic.
The main courses were a resounding success, as were the cheeses, and the desserts were a hit with everyone.
The service was impeccable, with attentive waiters, warm smiles, and clear, simple explanations for both children and adults about what we were eating.
We will be back.

Nothing to complain about...
The shaded terrace is a real treat in this weather.
The service is efficient and friendly.
The value for money is amazing.
And above all: very good dishes (pig's trotter croquettes with lentil espuma and meat jus, stuffed guinea fowl leg with miso jus, Japanese-style lacquered pork loin) and delicious desserts.

La Recreation is my favorite restaurant in the world! My grandparents have brought my family here for years now. Everything is exceptional. The staff are welcoming, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable. Nothing is too much to ask! The food is out of this world. The lobster ravioli is phenomenal, and the desserts are so beautifully crafted they look like works of art. We will be back again soon!
