La Renaissance sur Montreuil

Every time I go back to Montreuil where I used to work, it's a must-visit. Three or four choices of homemade starters, main courses, and desserts at reasonable prices, always varied and excellent, including the vegetarian option—this restaurant is fantastic! And the couple who run it are super friendly.

This bar/restaurant, just opposite the old Ubisoft office, is run by one of the most warm-hearted people I've had the fortune to meet in France. Everything is done with love, care, and it's really not about the money - everything is very fairly priced. If you're passing by, get a coffee or a beer, sit at the bar and talk to Bruno - he's wise, kind and generous. Conversations with him are great for the soul! :)
