Excellent food, great wine selection. Lovely terrace with superb sunset views, but a bit close to the road.

We came to this restaurant for the second time. The first time I was delighted, this time I am more ambivalent, even a little disappointed. The setting is bucolic, the signature dish excellent, but the quantities were a little limited, especially compared to the cheese plate. We had wine by the glass, and it was measured down to the last drop, even though we were in the heart of Beaujolais. What a shame...

The food was very good, the octopus was delicious, but the tomatoes in the Greek salad were frozen, what a shame!

A beautiful place with refined cuisine; it's a shame there isn't a vegetarian option on the menu (not to mention the vegetarian starters). Go without hesitation!

A truly wonderful discovery! Everything was absolutely delicious, with original dishes bursting with flavor. And the setting, right in the middle of the vineyards… simply magnificent! 🍇 And a special mention to the waitress who kept us laughing throughout the meal 😄 A fantastic place that I highly recommend!

1/ First of all, an exceptional setting: a beautiful, secluded house nestled amidst vineyards, where the low light of the setting sun lends the terrace a peaceful, rustic atmosphere. A lovely interior room adorned with a stunning mural. That sets the scene... 2/ And what about the food, you ask? Well, this is where the problem lies: The chef offers a bold cuisine, visually stunning and with interesting flavor combinations. However, the taste is disappointing: The descriptions of the various dishes hint at promising discoveries that never materialize... For example: - The octopus, served on a beautifully deconstructed plate, is rather roughly chopped and simply grilled. We were expecting a more elaborate, deconstructed octopus. Furthermore, it's overcooked, making it too tough. - The beautifully crafted dessert wafer is rather bland due to an unbalanced cream that is too undersweet compared to the other accompanying elements. 3/ The service is provided by a charming young woman, certainly smiling, but a little too familiar, again considering the "gastronomic" nature of the establishment. A small but touching gesture was added with dessert: a small, sparkling candle to mark a birthday. 4/ The wine list is extensive, varied, and very reasonably priced. (Expect to pay around €70 per person, including aperitif, wine, and coffee). CONCLUSION: This lovely establishment offers a promising culinary experience that, we have no doubt, will find its way to excellence in the near future by addressing its minor imperfections.

Beautiful setting amidst the vineyards and delicious food

We had a delicious lunch here. The service and the food were truly delicious. You sit on the beautiful terrace with a view of the vineyards. The photos don't lie about how tasty and beautiful the food was.

What a delightful time we had at La Robe Rouge! We received a very warm welcome from the lovely hostess who runs the restaurant. The dishes are as beautiful as they are delicious. Everything is designed to make the experience perfect. And the view... simply magnificent! We highly recommend this beautiful establishment!
