La Romana sur Maizieres-Les-Metz

First time at this restaurant and definitely not the last! The pizzas were excellent, the service perfect, and the quality/price ratio impeccable. Besides, when a restaurant is full on a Thursday lunchtime, that's usually a good sign.

I ordered pizza and profiteroles. Pizza: excellent, cooked in a wood-fired oven 👍 Profiteroles: visually appealing, but disappointing. For a restaurant, it's a shame to use liquid industrial chocolate rather than real melted chocolate.

Takeaway pizza order not respected, what a shame! I ordered a Barèse pizza, received a 4 Saison.

The truffle ravioli were exceptional; I liked the pizza less because it had too much dough and was soggy. Fast service.

La Romana is simply a gem 🤌🇮🇹 Real Italian cuisine just the way we like it, and absolutely incredible wood-fired pizzas 🔥🍕 The Neapolitan pizza… what can I say? I order it regularly and it's absolutely amazing: perfect crust, generous toppings, authentic flavors, and perfectly cooked. Pure bliss with every bite 🤤 Huge respect to the pizza maker! Top 👍 It's always a pleasure to return to La Romana when I'm back in the area. It's really hard to find such delicious pizzas around here. For pizza, La Romana is the place to go.

The pizza toppings are high quality. The staff is friendly. The price is reasonable. We'll gladly come back.

The pizzas are excellent, the pasta trio was a bit bland for my taste, but one of the guests ordered the cheese gnocchi and found them very good. The desserts were a bit of a letdown. We waited a long time for a menu that never arrived, so we chose based on what we'd seen when ordering our main courses. The tiramisu was good. The profiteroles, however, were a major disappointment. The choux pastry was good, but that's about it. The ice cream was tasteless, the whipped cream was from a can, and the chocolate sauce came in a tube. It's a shame to go to the trouble of making choux pastry and then ruin the dessert with such poor-quality ingredients. As a result, the ice cream sundaes probably weren't great either. Perhaps the panna cotta was the only redeeming feature. In short, if you're craving pizza, go for it, but don't bother saving room for dessert.

Finally, a restaurant that doesn't overdo the salt, which allowed us to appreciate each of the good ingredients, seasoned just right.
