I've been coming to this restaurant from time to time for a few years now, and it's always a treat! The Syrian platter is a sure thing; the welcome and service are always excellent.

Passing through Montpellier, my mother and I stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance, having chosen it based on the reviews (4.7) on Maps. We were completely charmed by the inviting atmosphere of this small establishment (30-35 seats), its very friendly young waitress, and the quality of the dishes we were served (chicken couscous). If we were to return to Montpellier, we would definitely go back to La Rose de Damas without hesitation.

The staff were absolutely lovely and the welcome very warm. The daily special is highly recommended: always excellent, very reasonably priced, with such generous portions that they can easily be shared between two people. A place I highly recommend.
