My parents really enjoyed the warm welcome from Ellen & Menno. Not to mention the food. France the way you like to experience France and that is made possible by these two. Had dinner twice at La Roseraie, highly recommended, in an attractive setting.

Excellente adresse au milieu de nulle part ! Un accueil très agréable, chaleureux et souriant. Deux hôtes adorables. Grande pièce principale avec un poêle pour se réchauffer, une belle chambre avec un grand lit confortable. Belle salle d’eau (manque juste un peu de pression dans la douche) Nous avons pris le repas sur place, c’était parfait. Étant en moto et avec une météo dantesque, on nous a gentiment proposé de ranger la moto au sec, après s’etre réchauffés auprès du poêle avec un thé chaud.

We stayed somewhere else in Lucenay l'Évêque, but had dinner at Menno and Ellen's for three evenings. And we were so happy to have found this address. Very attractive restaurant, cozy and beautifully decorated. And then the food!! In one word g e w e l d i g. Prepared with love and a lot of care by Ellen who cooks the stars of heaven. Everything was delicious and the plates were so beautifully presented. We were in Lucenay for a week and the weather wasn't great, but the dinners at La Roseraie were the rays of sunshine we missed during the day. *Please contact them if you want to go there. They don't cook every night.

We had a pleasant stay at the Roseraie at the beginning of April with unpredictable weather. The warm welcome from our hosts, the table d'hôte and the sweet and savory breakfasts allowed us to appreciate our environment. The Morvan is a region to discover.
