While visiting the Morvan region for the holidays, we spent New Year's Eve dinner at La Roseraie. We were captivated by the atmosphere, the quality of the food, and the warm welcome from Ellen and Menno. La Roseraie is practically always on our route: Somehow, no matter where we are in France, we always manage to include La Roseraie near Autun on our route, so that at least once a year we can enjoy Ellen and Menno's incredibly delicious cuisine and warm hospitality. The natural lightness of being, whether in the gîte or one of the three rooms in the main house, Ellen's wonderfully delicious creations, or the lovingly prepared breakfast in the garden, with the chickens under the table, always make a visit to La Roseraie a lasting experience. And the value for money is perfect. Thank you, Ellen & Menno.

A very warm welcome from Elien and Monno in a relaxing and enchanting setting. The beautifully decorated room is spacious and very bright. An exceptional table d'hôte. The menu is unique because the meals, designed by Elien, are worthy of a Michelin-starred chef, as she prepares them with such pleasure, for our enjoyment. The breakfasts are of the same quality. All beautifully presented. Thank you, Elien and Monno, for these moments.
