A really great way to do a trip back in time

Medieval cuisine is certainly different from what we're used to eating today. Some dishes might, at first glance, seem a little bland, or at least not the kind of thing that would immediately make our mouths water, because our 21st-century palates are accustomed to tastes that are too sweet, too fatty, or too salty (clearly not the best for our health!). However, the kitchen team rose to this challenge brilliantly: each dish was perfectly seasoned, fragrant, and truly delicious. This made the culinary experience even more successful. The experience is further enhanced by the entertainment offered throughout the meal, as well as by the choice of costumes at the beginning, which immediately immerses us in the medieval atmosphere. We also greatly appreciated the intimate atmosphere of the restaurant, with only one seating at lunchtime: no constant coming and going, allowing us to fully enjoy the moment. A wonderful discovery that we highly recommend! Until next time!

A trip back to the Middle Ages...what a pleasure to eat good food, and even better, with your hands...and in period costume...I'd do it again!

Worth seeing... Typical medieval meal and guaranteed atmosphere.

After choosing our menu, we were able to dress up to fit the theme. The meal was excellent. I had the Lord's Menu, and each course was a delight. Be warned, though, it's a very generous portion! The staff was friendly and understanding. Since I don't like goat cheese, they immediately offered to replace it with another dessert. I particularly appreciated this thoughtful touch. The entertainment that followed was fun (I won't spoil it for you). If you have the chance to eat there before or after visiting the castle, go for it. It might be a bit pricey, but you definitely won't be disappointed. I can't wait to go back.

The concept is brilliant! No complaints whatsoever 👌 The portions are generous, we left the restaurant with full stomachs!! You do have to like spices though!!! Costumes are essential for immersing yourself in the Middle Ages, but... it's a shame the costumes were stained and had loose seams. The atmosphere... meh... we were expecting a very festive vibe. Apart from two dances during the meal, there wasn't much of a lively atmosphere. The servers were adequate but not particularly friendly or cheerful! A pity. Still, it was a very good time with friends!

Great! We came from Toulouse especially and honestly we really enjoyed it. Great atmosphere, very beautiful setting.

You have to love changing into medieval costumes, and dancing medieval dances.
