A great place to have a good time without any fuss. The concept is straightforward, and the dishes are well-prepared and satisfying. Special mention goes to the staff: the service is quick, friendly, and professional, which is especially appreciated in such a central location.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ A very enjoyable time spent at La Rotonde. The setting is truly pleasant, with a lovely atmosphere and an ideal location in the city center. The service is generally efficient and well-organized, the dishes arrive promptly, and the quality is excellent. A minor drawback, however, was the welcome; a lack of smiles and warmth from the staff contrasted somewhat with the rest of the experience. But this didn't spoil the meal, which remained very good and enjoyable. A good address in Aix-en-Provence, especially for enjoying the ambiance and solid service.

Noisy and impersonal in this grand establishment. Very expensive dishes for disappointing quality. I ordered a flank steak with fries, which was barely cooked but served medium-rare, a half-full glass of red wine, no water, no bread, and not a word from the waiter to ask how my meal was going... In short, I left without dessert. The only redeeming feature was the fast service. Very disappointed.

We had such an amazing experience at La Rotonde in Aix-en-Provence that we ended up coming back twice! Dinner was incredible—we started with the escargot, which were perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The steak for two was absolutely delicious, cooked beautifully and great for sharing. The mashed potatoes with truffle were honestly out of this world… I’m still thinking about them. We finished with a crème brûlée that was the perfect ending—light, creamy, and perfectly caramelized on top. I also came here for breakfast the day before, and it was just as good. The omelette was so fluffy and delicious, simple but done really well. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is what really makes this place special. Sitting right in the heart of Aix with the iconic fountain, it’s the perfect spot to relax and soak everything in. Service was friendly and attentive, and the whole experience felt effortless. Highly recommend—this is a must if you’re visiting Aix!

Champagne and pastries after a concert at the Grand Théâtre de Provence. A very pleasant atmosphere with a warm welcome and highly professional service. We will gladly return.

And €16 for a spritz, obviously with lots of ice cubes...
