We ate at this restaurant as a family, accompanied by our dog, and we weren't disappointed! The shaded terrace is very pleasant, the order and service are quick, and the dishes are generous and delicious. The owner and staff are friendly and welcoming. Thank you for a lovely time!

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant: the atmosphere was pleasant, the staff truly attentive, and the food delicious. The set menu (starter, main course, dessert) was offered for under €20 and proved to be delicious from start to finish. My partner opted for the homemade foie gras, a real success, as were the rest of his dishes. There were four of us, and everyone was completely satisfied. We arrived in the rain and without a reservation, but we were lucky enough to find a table—though it's definitely better to book ahead. A very good restaurant, ideally located near the Pech Merle cave.

We sat down for lunch with our 3-year-old son on the lovely shaded terrace. The servers were very efficient and friendly. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal; the dishes and desserts were truly delicious. A nice touch: they offer a children's menu where you can choose any dish from the menu. It's a welcome change from chicken nuggets and fries, and the portions are perfectly sized for children, so there's no waste.

A huge thank you for this delightful experience. Having just arrived from a two-hour horseback ride, my partner was bitten by a huge number of horseflies. The staff were incredibly attentive, providing ice packs and anti-bite cream. The three-course meal (starter, main, and dessert) was unbeatable at €19.50 and truly excellent. We will definitely return and highly recommend it. Thank you again to the whole team.

We booked for 9 people. We arrived half an hour late, no complaints. We had the set menu for €19.50 🥰 The dishes were very generous, beautifully presented, and served with kindness... many restaurants in the Lot region could learn a thing or two 😃. You can stop there without hesitation 🤩

A truly wonderful discovery! The team was dynamic and welcoming. The vegetables were incredibly flavorful, perfectly cooked, with amazing flavor combinations and sauces. Everything was full of finesse and taste, a real treat from start to finish. Flavors that deceive the taste buds! I highly recommend this place ❤️

A truly wonderful discovery! The cuisine is original and a refreshing change from the usual fare, with beautifully presented dishes and delicious local ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from appetizer to dessert, with dishes that were as beautiful as they were tasty. We highly recommend this restaurant! A fantastic experience from start to finish.

17/06/2026: A group of 13 motorcyclists for 3 nights Booked in December Upon arrival, our room key was thrown onto the counter without explanation, and we were put up in the pilgrims' hostel! We were surprised by a minimalist room, especially considering it was the same price as a hotel room! There was no gesture of goodwill from the owner, who, without competent and attentive staff, might have to close his establishment. So, very disappointed with this experience. On the other hand, the food was perfect. Sir, a welcoming smile would have been appreciated by everyone. Best of luck.
09/06/2026: We live in the next village, and yet last night was our first time at the Hôtel des Grottes restaurant. We had a wonderful meal, and I was very pleasantly surprised to have a duck breast cooked exactly as I requested, which never happens in other restaurants. But above all, we want to thank our waiter, Lucas, who, in addition to being very professional, is incredibly kind and generous. A real gem! We can't wait to eat at this establishment again.

14/06/2026: A wonderful discovery of this peaceful and pleasant place in a beautiful region. The warm welcome from the owners, the delicious meals, and the ambiance made us feel like we were staying with friends. We were delighted with our stay.
