La Route Bleue sur La Fouillouse

It's good but expensive, but one thing bothers me about the cocktails: THERE ARE NO STRAWS! I'M OUTRAGED BY THAT!

As a vegetarian, this is one of the few restaurants where I enjoy eating. The dishes are sophisticated and refined. They contrast sharply with those served in other restaurants in the area, where I'm usually relegated to a meager risotto...

The house cocktail isn't labeled as alcoholic, and ordering a €25 dish with such generous portions is disappointing. The dessert portion is far too large, and by the end of the meal, it's all sweets. It's a shame because the main course itself is so good.

A wonderful discovery, everything was perfect: the welcome, the delicious food, and the superb setting. We will gladly return.

I had a good time at La Route Bleue, even though the experience left me with mixed feelings. The food is clearly the restaurant's strong point: the dishes are well-crafted, beautifully presented, and demonstrate genuine culinary vision. You can feel the chef's creativity and desire to offer something different. The setting is pleasant, modern, and welcoming, and the overall ambiance is refined. However, a few details slightly detracted from the experience. The service remains professional, but frankly lacks warmth (is a simple smile an extra charge? I wonder...). Furthermore, when customers ask questions or make comments, even politely, the waitresses often respond with a closed-off attitude or a hint of irritation. For me, this doesn't fit with the advertised bistronomic spirit.

The food was very good. The recipes were varied and sophisticated. However, the service was far too slow. The waitress refused to accept any negative feedback when we mentioned the slow service. She became offended, retorting that the wait time was normal for a restaurant considered "almost fine dining." I didn't realize that a restaurant's reputation was based on its wait time. It's a shame to leave the restaurant on such a sour note.

A very nice place, refined cuisine, reasonably priced for the quality, and excellent service. We had a lovely time.
