La Route des Epices sur Calais

It's a culinary journey every time we go. A true delight on the plate, both visually and in terms of taste. It deserves a Michelin star 🌟 The owners are very kind. So don't hesitate if you enjoy unusual flavors.

New restaurant recommended by friends. An incredible journey of flavors! The chef's combinations are exceptional, bravo! Everything is amazing from appetizer to dessert. 👍

A surprising, succulent, simply excellent cuisine 👍 Flavors that change with the spices (it lives up to its name), for wonderful taste discoveries!

We arrived at the end of service by chance, but were warmly welcomed and served very well. The cuisine lives up to the restaurant's name perfectly, deliciously spiced. A real treat, highly recommended.

We had a great time. Thank you, everything was very good.

The waitress wasn't very pleasant and some dishes were forgotten. There were seven of us at the table, and we asked for more bread because we only received six pieces. We were given four more pieces… barely enough. But the ice cream was very good.

Inventive cuisine, a pleasure renewed with each visit

A fantastic discovery! The dishes are magnificent, as beautiful as they are delicious. All the dishes are homemade, with high-quality ingredients and a perfect balance of spices. Every bite reflects the chef's care and passion. A fantastic discovery! The dishes are magnificent, as beautiful as they are delicious. All the dishes are homemade, with high-quality ingredients and an excellent selection of spices. The meat is halal, which is a plus, but some dishes contain ham or alcohol. The atmosphere is warm and very pleasant, the chef is professional, passionate, and very friendly, and the service is attentive. We even had the pleasure of chatting with some very friendly regulars, which made the experience even more enjoyable. An address I highly recommend; we will definitely be back! Magnificent. Superb cuisine. A very, very good place. The owner is kind. The plus: the food. Halal meat. The minus: the alcohol/ham, but oh well. It's unpretentious France & Kabylia 😅 The plus: great tea. Perfectly brewed. Friendly atmosphere.

A truly amazing discovery, a complete stroke of luck during our weekend trip to Calais. This intimate restaurant boasts a small but perfectly executed menu, and the dishes are simply delicious. Go without hesitation. The owner could add €10 to every single price and I wouldn't mind at all, it was so good. The ice cream is excellent too. Thanks again for the tea, The two Belgians 🇧🇪
