La Route du Rhum sur Bordeaux

Absolutely outstanding, unbelievably good food but at these prices I can't think of anywhere better. Lovely, friendly waitress. My advice is don't bother with the tourist places nearby, this is the place to eat. The locals clearly know a good thing when they see it. Easily five stars

A popular restaurant, away from the tourist traps opposite the station. Starter, main course and dessert menu with wine and coffee for less than €20. Radio nostalgia on donf and BfmTv at the back of the room. Smiling, no-fuss service.

Stopped for a nightcap on the way to the hotel because as a sailor I was naturally attracted to the name Route du Rhum. Nicely decorated inside, but unfortunately nothing maritime. The service was very nice, but unfortunately there was only one Ballantines as a halfway acceptable whiskey.

Today back and stop, at the restaurant la route du rhum, always a very warm welcome, very smiling person at the bar and then at the service. Very good cuisine, hearty service always at the top.. it is always with the same pleasure that we come back and will come back.... Keep it up and thank you Raymond and Gégé
