La Ruelle sur Bourg-Saint-Maurice

A restaurant/bar packed with regulars and tourists, a real gem for its unlikely (but easily explained, just ask the owner) mix of Senegalese and Savoyard cuisine! Tartiflette with mafé is highly recommended.

The restaurant doesn't have long tables, only tables for four. Arriving at 7 PM allows you to be seated immediately. The server will provide a menu; scan the QR code to connect to the Wi-Fi, then scan again to view the online menu. The online menu can be switched to Chinese, making it very convenient to read. Lamb Mafia: A top choice. The peanut sauce is delicious. It's served with rice, but even better with bread. French Pepesu Chicken: The chicken is delicious; highly recommended.

Excellent Senegalese cuisine in the heart of the Haute-Tarentaise region! What a treat to be able to taste Senegalese dishes, especially since my girlfriend and I are vegetarians! It's quite rare, I must say: in Savoie, vegetarian options are often scarce. Here, many dishes have a vegetarian version, much to our delight! The first time, we came as a group of 10 and chose La Ruelle for their inclusive cuisine, meaning there was enough food for everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed it! The second time, the vegetarian options had been removed following a (nasty) comment from a die-hard vegetarian. Despite this, they were kind enough to prepare vegetarian dishes for us, which were just as delicious! Thank you! If you are vegetarian, remember that it is first and foremost a dietary choice, not a life-threatening allergy or a religious obligation. Taking revenge for a common, human mistake is completely pointless and counterproductive.

This is my second time eating at La Ruelle. I'm vegetarian, and all the dishes are available in a vegetarian version. A huge thank you for that, as it allows us to enjoy your excellent cuisine! The dishes are delicious and generous, and the high-quality vegetarian galette pairs perfectly with the rest of the meal! The service is top-notch. Vegetarian or not, go for it without hesitation.

A wonderful discovery! We stopped by for lunch today, intrigued by the combination of Savoyard and Senegalese cuisine, and we LOVED it. The four-cheese fondue with chili was a fantastic find. All this in a friendly, family atmosphere. Excellent value for money. We'll be back on our next visit to try some new specialties.
