La Sablesienne sur Sable-Sur-Sarthe

It's always a pleasure to come to this restaurant; the welcome is always warm and the food is even better each time. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Sablé-sur-Sarthe.

The pizzas (takeaway) are clearly too small for the price (junior size for €15 on average). The toppings are fresh and high quality. The crust is very basic, nothing special. Long wait times due to its popularity.

It was excellent! And it was open on a public holiday, which was a lifesaver! However, please remove that awful AI image; the restaurant's interior is beautiful, it doesn't need that ☺️

Excellent Reine pizza, very good local wines, and impeccable service despite our large group. Many thanks again to them for being part of our wonderful weekend in the Sarthe.

The staff were very friendly! The blackcurrant spritz was good and the salmon risotto delicious, but the chocolate mousse was much too sweet for me. It was a bit too hot in the restaurant. Having had their burgers to go before, I can say they're also very good. I'll be back!

Passing through for lunch with my wife, son, and his grandparents, we enjoyed the very high-quality dishes. We had a reservation for lunch, and the service started well. However, after the main course, we waited a very long time for dessert. We saw other tables that arrived after us being served their desserts before us, and we were served almost last. It was a long wait, especially for our 5-year-old son. We left at 2 pm after our main course and dessert, and received no compensation. I recommend the restaurant, but they should be mindful of the service, especially when there are young children present.
