Recommended by a friend, we had a wonderful Sunday lunch at La Saumonière. The owner greeted us before heading off to the kitchen as soon as the first customers arrived. The head waitress was incredibly friendly and the waitresses were very attentive. We had a delicious meal (the beef with Burgundy sauce was magnificent) and the dining room was air-conditioned to boot. A very good experience, we'll definitely be back!

We went to this restaurant today and it was perfect. The food was excellent, homemade, of superior quality, with very generous portions and super tasty. We had the pear tart as a starter, then the salmon steak with cream sauce, which was delicious. We didn't have dessert, which was a shame, but we were too full. The service was impeccable; the waitress was attentive and very friendly. The atmosphere was ideal for a family meal.

Delicious...a minor point: the beef was undercooked (no comment)...the turbot sauce could have been a touch thicker. The portions were large, perhaps even a bit too large? The side dishes were excellent, with a variety of delicate and well-prepared vegetables. I don't think serving appetizers with a €39 menu is appropriate. An amuse-bouche would have been much better – a small glass, or even mini toasts with a tuna/St. Môret cheese mixture, an endive leaf with the same filling, a choux pastry gougère, a mini melon or watermelon skewer with a piece of smoked ham and a square of Gruyère cheese...I know it takes time. Pleasant staff. Good service. The large wrought-iron glass is a nice decorative touch. We need to find a way to hide the wallpaper on the back wall; it's quite jarring! Comfortable chairs.
