La Scierie sur La Clusaz

A truly wonderful evening at La Scierie! There were nine of us, and everyone left delighted. The welcome was absolutely top-notch: warm, attentive, and professional from start to finish. The dishes were original, sophisticated, beautifully presented, and above all, absolutely delicious. And down to the smallest details, everything was meticulously attended to: exquisite tableware, superb wine glasses… The wine we chose was excellent, by the way. A huge thank you to Hugo and his entire team for their hospitality and this superb evening. A place we will gladly return to!

An unusual place with great music. Attentive and competent staff. The menu is relatively expensive with small portions. A shame.

We came for lunch as a couple and had a wonderful time thanks to the two waiters who were absolutely lovely, helpful, and had a great sense of humor. We loved it and we'll be back!!

One rainy lunchtime, we took shelter on the covered terrace. There were some interesting vegetarian options. But what you really want to know is whether the food was good, and it was! A truly excellent meal. The only slight drawback, which wasn't directly our fault, was to be mindful of the smoking area. The second part of our meal was disturbed by a cigar smoker, and the couple next to us even asked to be moved. Despite this, everything was very good.

Great dinner at La Scierie in La Clusaz. The slow-cooked ribs were incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The fries and fresh salad were a perfect match, and the portion was very generous. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and a great place for a hearty meal after a day in the mountains. Definitely recommended!

We arrived for a drink on their inviting terrace and ended up staying for an excellent meal. That sums up the quality of the welcome, the ambiance, and the delight of our palates. A dynamic, smiling, and accommodating team served us throughout the evening. A warm, sophisticated, and convivial atmosphere. The owner has masterfully balanced these elements. A surprising and delicious Sour Sapinette to start, followed by grilled octopus. A tantalizing appetizer before the main courses. A lamb Savagnin that I would describe as perfect. Tender, flavorful meat accompanied by al dente vegetables and a fragrant reduction. A pan-seared steak tartare (yes, you can cook steak tartare quickly!) with Roquefort sauce. Another delight. I highly recommend listening to the sommelier's advice to find the perfect pairing, and you'll be on your way to culinary bliss. In the end, the roasted apricots were magnificent. As you can tell, we were won over.
