We went to the bar for a cocktail. The drinks were good and we were enjoying the place until someone started smoking a cigar inside and then others started smoking. I did not realise that you can smoke inside a bar in France in 2026. Our group of 4 left immediately.

The quality of the food has declined significantly, which is a shame. The lounge and chalet atmosphere is still very pleasant. The service is good.

Very well located in the village, with a warm dining room and a lovely fireplace, pleasant decor, a selection of original wines (including a French wine from Savoie, Sicily, which is very low in alcohol and dry), and attractive prices on traditional dishes.
The most unique feature, in my opinion, is the children's menu, which is truly different. They get a starter (the same as the adult menu) and a high-quality main course (the same as the adult menu, but with different portion sizes). It's not three courses, but it's a welcome change from poor-quality hamburgers with frozen fries, and it helps develop children's palates. 🙌

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed lunch at this restaurant. The staff were very friendly, the food was delicious, and the setting was beautiful, chalet-style, and peaceful. The price was a little higher than average, but it was very good. A nice bonus was the excellent welcome we received despite having a stroller and two children.
