Very disappointed. The service was sorely lacking; it was incredibly slow. Starters were served at the same time as those who only ordered a main course… a shame. Tables were reset (end of service), but not cleared… we waited ages. No coffee was offered. The waiter didn't know how to set the cutlery correctly. The food was good, but the presentation was mediocre; the salad in the starters was swimming in dressing. That's it…

Excellent Italian restaurant. The pizzas are fantastic, the best in the area. For dessert, the Amarena sundae is superb. I highly recommend it. Well done to the whole team!

We went to La Siesta restaurant for lunch and received a very warm welcome. We ate delicious and generously topped pizzas 👍 A restaurant to recommend. The only downside was that the soap dispenser in the women's restroom was broken.

01/01/2026: Lopez!!! The best ice cream parlor in ALL of Royan!! We already knew that!!! And their ice cream logs are to die for!! That was a real discovery. We devoured the Sicilian log!
30/12/2025: We ordered two Yule logs for four people for Christmas, and what a surprise when we took one of them out of its packaging—it was broken! I checked to make sure I hadn't broken it during transport, but no, the broken piece wasn't even in the box. When we politely pointed it out to the saleswoman today, she didn't believe us until she saw the photo, and the only thing she could say was, "But we check them..." Apparently not that often. I'm not saying mistakes can happen, especially during the Christmas season when there are a lot of orders, but the broken piece not being in the box means it was broken as soon as it was packaged in the kitchen... And to top it all off, in addition to being condescending, the saleswoman didn't even apologize, which, given the price of the log (€21.90 for the four-person version, remember), would be the bare minimum... Lopez is a Royan institution, but it's a shame that some employees don't live up to the brand's standards. the company and this damages its image.
