Very noisy place, even though it was on the first floor, so far from the sound system.
The food was plentiful and very good, which was a plus.
As for the staff, they weren't very friendly, a bit... lost, I'd say.
And despite the cooler weather, it was too hot upstairs, which was a shame (even though there was air conditioning). I wouldn't recommend it, but I don't hate it either... it's fine for couples or young people, that's all.

Long wait on a Saturday night, mediocre food, partially sluggish service, will satisfy a tourist who doesn't ask for more, and for a slightly more demanding palate, not the best choice.

I highly recommend this restaurant. We had the mussels in cream sauce, which were perfectly cooked. My daughter had the squid ink risotto with salmon gravlax, which was simply delicious. The staff is also very welcoming.

Second visit to this excellent restaurant. Top-notch service and very pleasant staff. Fresh ingredients, generous and delicious pizzas. Finally, a real hand-cut beef tartare! It's also worth noting that it offers the best value for money on the seafront. We've found our go-to spot for the holidays. Absolutely fantastic!

While on holiday in Meschers-sur-Gironde, we easily booked a table for four at La Siesta in Royan. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The menu was extensive with good quality ingredients (the fish of the day was excellent). The service was quick; we spent 1 hour and 10 minutes at the restaurant after an aperitif, main course, and dessert. The food was very good. I don't understand the negative reviews; this restaurant deserves a very high rating.
I highly recommend it.
