We are motorhome travelers, and in Vaunac, a rest area next to the village hall gave us a very warm welcome. But a must-see is the inn "L'Auberge de la Sobronade," where the welcome is more than warm and the menu features many homemade dishes that we thoroughly enjoyed. The short detour was well worth it.

Our favorite restaurant in the area, with delicious and generous cuisine, excellent foie gras and soups all year round, and the best duck breast I've ever tasted. The owner, also a keen hiker, is charming and happy to share his knowledge of local walks.
Excellent restaurant, from the welcome to the dessert. A chef who prepares superb dishes. A friendly, smiling, and very professional waitress. We loved it... we'll be back. The foie gras is wonderful. If you're in the area, stop by!
