Cozy, expensive, noisy, cramped, but all this can be forgiven because it’s delicious. And even more so for a restaurant in the mountains with a beautiful view

This restaurant was a breath of authenticity! Everyone who works there is so kind and funny and laid back. The food was great and the crowd was cool and diverse. We were lucky to have lunch on the terrace with the sun out. It couldn’t have been more perfect.

The steak was delicious also the potato salad or creamy potato. You have to order the side sauce have chimichuri and mushroom sauce.

Culinary experience at this mountainous establishment was stunning, offering a picturesque interior like it’s straight from a postcard. Specializing in grilled meats of the highest quality, this restaurant ensures a culinary delight. This venue undoubtedly sets the benchmark for a refined dining experience in the mountains. Also big kuddo’s for the staff who’s exceptionally attentive and infused with a delightful sense of humor. Coming back for sure.

This is the best restaurant you can visit in the area. Unfortunately it’s reachable only skiing. Everything is excellent here. The way they offer the food, service, atmosphere, the view even when the weather is not so good. Two floors very cozy, chalet type decorating. Fireplace on each floor, you can see how they prepare the meat there. Highly recommend it!

02/04/2024: The place has a very good atmosphere and the food is pretty good, we ordered the fondue, I recommend it! It comes with boiled potatoes, charcuterie and salad. The waiters were nice and helped us choosing what to order. The only thing that we didn’t like, is that we booked a table in advanced and they didn’t sit us in the main dining hall, they put us in a high table which was uncomfortable near the entrance, they said there weren’t other available tables in the main hall but after a few minutes, another group came in and the waiter gave them the “last table” (so in fact there was an available table but they didn’t want us to be there). I think that when you make a reservation in this type of restaurants, they should warn you if there is not a normal table available, for us it was part of the experience to sit in the main dining hall as it had a very nice decoration.
02/04/2024: A must-visit restaurant in Le Praz. Amazing local Savoyard cuisine. Brilliant, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Surprisingly good value for the area too. Best meal we had. Fondue was amazing.
