We had the apartment.
This was separate and consisted of a living room and small counter with refrigerator and a spacious bedroom and bathroom upstairs.
There was air conditioning which came in handy.
The breakfast was very luxurious and the breakfast service was a lovely woman.
Even though we arrived later, the cook also prepared us a delicious meal, which we enjoyed on our own terrace.
There was also a coffee maker and microwave. Just no crockery or cutlery at all.
The only thing that was a shame for me personally was that although there was a very large bathroom upstairs (luxury with soaps, bath foam, shampoo, shower cap and even toothbrushes), there was no toilet here.
If you often have to go to the toilet during the night, this is a burden if you have difficulty walking or, in my case, have a lot of pain in your joints.
Of course, I have no idea whether a toilet upstairs would be technically possible, but in terms of space, with both a toilet and a bidet, you still have at least 2 - 3 double the space as in most bathrooms.
Another plus was that we didn't have to check out until 12 noon. I don't know if this is also the case in the high season, but for someone with start-up problems and someone who likes to have a leisurely breakfast and also dogs who like to take a walk and then have a drink in the apartment before heading south or back. continues home, this is ideal
We were warmly welcomed at the hotel restaurant La Source Bleue, located in a magical location in Haute-Marne, offering a peaceful atmosphere. The Valentine's Day meal was delicious, with a special menu. Although the server seemed a little distant at first, he improved as the evening went on. The large park is home to a clear blue spring, but it is a shame that there is no explanation of its origin. For accommodation, we stayed in Clara House, offering integral space at our disposal. Beautiful walks were to be expected in the establishment's park and surrounding areas.
