La Source Des Sens sur Durrenbach

A truly wonderful experience! The heated outdoor pool, accompanied by birdsong, was a delight. The excellent dinner was served by warm and welcoming staff: the sommelier kindly offered us very helpful tips for everyday use. The breakfast featured entirely local products of high quality. We were also pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a Garden View room! In short, pure bliss!

We had a wonderful stay at La Source des Sens. The spa is simply magnificent, very well-equipped, and the staff is incredibly attentive. We were lucky enough to spend a night in a "nature" room, which was exceptional. The view of the forest is superb, the room is very well-equipped, clean, and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were equally impressive. In short, a truly timeless stay, a complete success in every way, and one that we highly recommend.

The room had everything you need, a large bathtub, a terrace, and a view of the greenery. The spa was very pleasant – there were two pools, saunas, and treatment rooms to choose from. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the staff were very helpful in choosing dishes and wines. A special thank you to Aleksey for helping me choose an amazing wine and for the conversation. The atmosphere was very pleasant – usually, such places intimidate me, but this time I was enchanted and pleasantly surprised by how warmly we were welcomed.

After a slight disappointment in room 102, my wife and I found a sympathetic and understanding ear in the manager. The staff is incredibly attentive, the spa fabulous, understated, and elegant. The cuisine is exquisite. The minor issue was quickly forgotten, and a gesture of goodwill was offered. Many thanks!

Despite a very complete and very clean spa (visited on February 27th with the "Temptation" package), I'm deducting a star because they took our car key as a deposit (certainly in case we made a run for it in our flip-flops!). First of all, it's not legal, and secondly, given the establishment's standard, it's more than unacceptable. Furthermore, I'm also deducting a star for the restaurant because, firstly, I specified that I was vegetarian and this wasn't noted (they offered me foie gras, salmon, etc.), secondly, a good 30 minutes passed between the appetizer and the main course. I finally had to speak to a waiter who didn't speak French, then to a second waiter who got the kitchen moving again. The meal took far too long; it was good, but it wasn't flavorful enough. Apart from the leeks in the appetizer, the rest was bland. I really enjoyed the spa, but for the reasons mentioned we will go elsewhere next time.

Third stay, 1 night with spa access and breakfast. The carpet in the room had stains, the roller shutters no longer worked, and the shower drain was clogged. For a 4-star hotel, this shouldn't be the case, especially considering the price. Freshly squeezed orange juice was missing from the breakfast. No omelet, grilled bacon, etc... a shame. We arrived at the spa at 3:30 pm and there weren't enough lounge chairs.

A perfect stay, with the one-night half-board package. The restaurant is excellent and the staff very professional! We booked a couples treatment at the spa, and it was very relaxing! Finally, the Nature room is very pleasant!

Valentine's Day evening to enjoy the cuisine of this establishment. The welcome and service are always very attentive. The dishes are as pleasing to the eye as they are to the palate. It's always a surprise for both the eyes and the taste buds. However, the slow service on February 14th was particularly unpleasant towards the end of the meal. We spent over 3.5 hours at the table, which meant we were so impatient that we wanted to rush through our dinner. Last year we received mugs as a Valentine's Day gift; this year, there was no special touch... I would therefore say there was a certain disappointment. February 12, 2026: an intimate moment enjoying 4 hours at the spa of this establishment. A soothing and rejuvenating place. This day continued at the restaurant. A magical moment, just like the two previous times.
