La Strada sur Angers

To be fair we are not huge Pizza fans but on this freezing cold night this Pizzeria looked most inviting. What a great choice. The choice was amazing. My wife had the scallop pizza (never seen this before) and I had the goats cheese with honey. Both were delicious. A crisp green salad and a nice red wine set off an excellent evening.

I've been to this restaurant three times. The prices are competitive and the value for money is excellent. And above all, the atmosphere of a small, family-run restaurant is very pleasant and well-executed. This is also thanks to the team of three men who run the restaurant; they are very friendly.

The restaurant was able to accommodate us as a group after a reservation was cancelled on site at another restaurant. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the dishes were varied and very good! A special mention goes to their tiramisu, which was excellent!

Saved us from a restaurant that let us down, even though it was 9 p.m. and we were the last to be served. The atmosphere was warm and the owners/cooks were very pleasant. The pizzas were delicious, and so were the desserts.
